A Pixieset alternative with the editor built in
Pixieset is the category leader for client galleries, and it shows — print store, lab fulfillment, a website builder, mobile apps. What it doesn’t do is editing: that’s a separate product, on a separate subscription. Obscura Studio is a smaller, newer tool that puts a real RAW editor in the same place as your galleries — at 1 TB, a third of Pixieset’s price for the galleries alone.

Where Pixieset is ahead
Pixieset has been at this longer, and it has real advantages Obscura doesn’t try to match:
- Print store and lab fulfillment. Clients can order prints and products straight from their gallery, with Pixieset handling production and shipping. Obscura has no print store.
- Website builder. Pixieset lets you build a full photographer website, not just galleries. Obscura doesn’t offer one.
- Mobile apps. Pixieset has dedicated iOS/Android apps for studio owners and clients. Obscura is browser-only.
- A mature, established ecosystem. Pixieset is the category leader with years of iteration behind its gallery and storefront tools. Obscura is newer and smaller.
